BIO: Rebecca is 4 years old. In May of 2011, she was rescued from her mother, who had severe mental health issues, by Austrian volunteer students working in Kawempe. Rebecca stayed with these volunteers while they carried out their work. Upon reaching their departure date the volunteers approached Kawempe Police for advice on where to leave their dear Rebecca Esther Sanyu. They were referred to BKU. Bright Kids Uganda is happy to offer a loving environment to Rebecca and hope she will be able to join school next year!!!
